GAME BYTE is an open source gaming system for creating, sharing, and playing games. It’s SMALL! About the size of a credit card and fits in your pocket so you can take it with you wherever you go. You can play one of the over 100 free games available or learn how to create your own. The built in SD card slot allows you to store all your games on an SD card without plugging into a computer.
Free Games
That’s right. There are over 100 free games online, thanks to the Arduino gaming communities. These games are also open source so you can learn from them.
The SD Card is key
With all of those games you’re going to need a place to store them. The ATmega processor is very impressive, but doesn’t have a whole lot of space to store all of your favorites. You’re welcome!
Arduino Compatible
Learn how to program your own games! Or even reprogram it to act like a USB mouse and keyboard. Uses the same processor as the Arduino Leonardo and Micro.
Open Source
We love the open source community. We used Eagle to design the PCB and Fusion 360 to design the enclosure. This will be available for everyone to learn and even customize.
