We believe in working together. Using our hands and machines of the future, The Bright Angle’s newest collection touches on a brilliant moment at the intersection of craft and technology. This remarkable collaborative series utilized 3D design and printing paired with centuries-old ceramic production techniques to create functional pieces for modern living. Their new collection called TBA One includes a stunning touch-lamp, dapper pourover coffee kit, a swiveling jewelry box, and more. The Bright Angle is excited to reveal TBA One for the first time on Kickstarter.

“We want to share the joys of using things made by hand, to contradict disposable culture. We want you to connect to the maker of your belongings. Our designs are made to be collected and cared for or given as gifts with truly unique stories behind them.” — Nick Moen, founder/CEO of The Bright Angle

The process begins as an idea, collaborating with local artists on each design. The designs go through dozens of iterations and the best are rendered digitally and 3D printed. Molds are made of the printed models and their finished form is high-quality porcelain. What makes our process unique is that every step is done in-house by artists in Asheville, North Carolina.

We are launching our brand by releasing the first collaborative line of handmade goods, TBA One, on Kickstarter. It took a year to build the whole studio and get the new collection designed. We couldn’t be more excited about what we’ve created so far. The focus wasn’t on just one design – we created an entire lifestyle collection that we plan to expand. The Bright Angle team is working on different solutions to drinking coffee in style, burning candles elegantly and lighting spaces that feel good.

Our team needs help to put the TBA One collection into production. Pre-selling the collection on Kickstarter will enable us to continue to support our team and create our products thoughtfully for an unforgettable user experience. Ultimately, the success of this project will allow us to collaborate with more artists moving forward and continue to build on the collection. This is our dream for the future of The Bright Angle.
