I’m reaching out to let you know about my upcoming Kickstarter launch for K-Cup Castle. It’s the ultimate K-Cup holder for fantasy geeks; a literal castle for your countertop which happens to hold K-Cups, while doubling as a great talking piece for Game of Thrones, Brandon Sanderson, or even coffee enthusiasts who might enjoy something different. “Unique” is kind of an understatement.
K-Cup Castle is the geekiest K-Cup holder mankind has ever known. Our goal is to destroy all of the existing K-Cup holders and wipe counter-tops clean of their stale, boring design. We spent about two years crafting the perfect load / unload form factor for K-Cups and realized that turrets were the best. And if you have turrets, you’d better have a castle to go with them.
My partner and I spent the last year studying mechanical engineering and designing the perfect model for K-Cup loading and unloading, while incorporating our love of fantasy into the design. In early runs, friends and family really dug the actual use of the holder itself – we spent hundreds of hours in CAD using the exact measurements of a K-Cup to build out the castle design, making the turrets as snug as possible while maintaining castle stability and ensuring smooth K-Cup load and unload.
I think you’d really dig it and would love it if you would consider spreading the word for us. We’ve poured our heart and soul into this project and are really pumped to share it. We’re launching the Kickstarter on August 22nd – a Tuesday.
