Kievan Rus’ is an exciting geopolitical strategy game. It is set in the Middle Ages. The game is constantly being developed, and you can see what features have already been implemented by checking it out on Google Play: play.google.com

As of this moment, the following features are implemented:
– War between states and with barbarians. You have to be ready for a war with the states that violate your zone of influence.
– Diplomacy. Build embassies, and sign non-aggression pacts and commercial agreements with other states.
– Economy. Produce food, distribute resources, and manufacture military equipment.
– Raise your army and fleet. You can build up your own army to defend your country and fight wars with other states and barbarians. You can recruit the following units: swordsmen, spearmen, archers, horsemen, missile weapons, and warships, which are ready to fight whenever you command.
– Espionage and sabotage. Send spies to obtain information on the enemy army and economy. Saboteurs can be used to inflict damage on the enemy army.
– Research. Increase production of goods and reduce construction time.
– Tribute. Adjust tribute levels for each population stratum. Don’t set it too high, though, so as not to cause a riot in the country, which will lead to your resignation.
– Trade. Sell excess goods to other states and buy the goods you lack.
– Laws. Adopt laws to reduce goods purchase prices, increase selling prices, improve your relationships with other states, and increase production of military equipment, food and resources.
– Religion. Select a state religion.
– International assemblies. Make suggestions for which other states can vote. You can suggest prohibiting production of a certain resource, declaration of wars and annexation, and production of military equipment.
– Commanders. Appoint commanders of your army and economy branch managers to increase their performance.
– Statistics. Keep your ear to the ground. Statistics can help you rule the country and make important decisions.
– Events. The following events are available in the game: theatrical performances, worship services, tournaments, feasts, carnivals, and fairs. Hold events to increase your popularity level.
– Separatism. Fight separatism in conquered territories. Follow a conscious policy to reduce the risk of riots.

This year:
– Map redesign. We are already working on it. Below you can see a draft of the new map, which will be available this spring. On the map, you will be able to see movement of units from all states, conquered territories, towns, rivers, forests and mountains.
– Colonization. Have you ever wanted to be a pioneer? We will give you such an opportunity. In the standard version of the game, the entire Eurasia will be available for colonization, and the DLC will make it possible to colonize the whole world.
– Online mode. Besides the single-player mode, you will be able to play with other users. Up to 10 players per map. You can also play as a team. There will also be an AI player.
– New platforms: iOS, Windows.
– If stretch goals are achieved, there will be Linux, Mac, browser and Facebook versions of the game.
– Game localization. Translation into 11+ languages.
– If stretch goals are achieved, the single-player game limit will be extended to 1800 or 2020.
– New diplomacy features.
– Improved combat system.
– Playing as any state that existed at that time (862 AD) in the single-player mode.
