London — April 19th, 2017  | While many people pay attention to their image, what they wear and how they look, shining shoes may not top their ‘to do’ list especially in these days of synthetic materials. However, for those who own expensive leather footwear making them look great is usually a priority, since they already know that a pair of really nice shined shoes will not just set the right first impression, but also communicates the right message.

With a burning desire to develop a hassle-free way to cleaning and polishing leather shoes, Anthony and Charles O’Ferrall founded and invented a fantastic device Equerry. The device is a complete shoe-care kit with a motorized shoe polisher designed to eliminate wear and scuff marks in people’s shoes within just seconds. Launched on April 19th, 2017, the two brothers are set to take the world by storm as they have designed Equerry using state of the art motor technology.

To make the project a reality, Anthony and Charles are raising funds through the online crowdfunding website Kickstarter ( http://kck.st/2oMLa3p ), and the goal of the campaign is to raise £30,000 within 33 days. The funds will be used to create the tooling and produce the first ever batch of Equerry shoe polishers.

Anthony explains how Equerry functions and why everyone will benefit from it: “It is easy to spend a lot of money on fashion footwear since you want the shoes to last for a long time. Besides, much can be told about a person by his shoes, which makes the wearer more conscious about their appearance. This makes people think of their shoes as an investment that needs to be looked after just as they would do for their house or car. Fortunately, Equerry, a USB rechargeable handheld shoe polisher with an internal polish reservoir and both sponge applicator and buffing horsehair brush, offers a quick way to always look your best.

A superb gift for husband, father, uncle, grandad. Comes in a beautiful gift box.

Charles goes on to explain: “We spent a lot of effort researching and developing a fantastic wax polish within the replaceable capsule inside the device. It will give you at least thirty polishes of your shoes, ensuring that your shoes will be well-nourished and will have a great lasting shine. The capsule is less than 100ml so you can take it on a plane as hand luggage.

At the other end of Equerry is the brush that rotates due to a powerful but small electric motor inside the product which has been designed to provide the right power to turn the brush even when you press it onto the leather, and also to provide the correct speed of rotation to avoid any polish flicking off” Equerry is designed by a professional British design company that has an excellent reputation and has selected a proven manufacturer in the Far East. The device can be recharged using a standard micro USB cable that is provided with the product, and for those who love to travel, Equerry will fit neatly into their bag, thereby enabling them to have their shoes polished every time. The sponge and brush head can be removed and changed for new ones easily.

Brodie Willis, the lead product designer concluded, “We have got an amazing team of great expertise, which includes the production manager, an expert product design team and packaging designer to ensure that this product is everything you wished for. If you could combine the best shoe polishing products on the market, you’d get Equerry. What makes us stand unique among competitors is the in-built polish reservoir, and the double ends which enable you to apply the polish and buff the shoes without having to fiddle around with changing the head. What’s more, Equerry makes a superb and highly acceptable gift that will be cherished for many years. And we know how hard it is to buy a present for a man.”
