Lula is a mobile system for makers, tinkerers, hackers, and designers. Creator of the device, Shayne Poindexter, wanted a solution to going hands free at home or at the office without compromising the ability to use the phone. Lula’s unique and charming design slightly resembles a Lunar Lander, hence the name, and enables easy adjustment to fit a variety of devices. Phones can be used in either landscape or portrait mode and the stand allows users to adjust the viewing angle. 0 and 90 degree range of motion lets Lula adjust to a variety of angles for perfect positioning on a coffee table, kitchen table, or bar. It also has adjustable legs that can be hidden away when used on a flat surface and extended on uneven surfaces. The tension on the device can be set to the user preference, lock it in tight or leave it loose for one handed easy access.
The team behind Lula is bringing it to life with the help of Kickstarter. The crowdfunding campaign will be used to fund the first production run of the tripod. Available in silver, black, blue, red, green, purple, pink, and orange, Lula will suit any user. The creator of this mobile tripod system also invites tinkerers and makers to create their own custom parts, 3D printed, or machined, further making this stand the dream accessory for creatives.
