Cleve Oines of MÄNNKITCHEN launched the MK9 chef knife on September 24, 2019 and it surpassed the funding goal of $21,800 4 days into a 30 day Kickstarter campaign. While the product has many features, what makes it different is that it is “built for the man who loves to cook”.

The knife is larger than traditional chef knives, and tis built to cater to the growing number of men who cook at home in the US. Since 1965, the number of men in the US who cook at home has increased by 44.8%.

After raising 150% of the total funding goal with 10 days remaining, it appears the MK9 has found an audience.
