Eindhoven, Netherlands — 14 May 2017 | Our design studio, formerly known as Attara Design will launch its second KickStarter project on 16MAY2017. A little more than 3 years ago we funded successfully our first attempt to create a cool and affordable wristwatch: www.kickstarter.com. Now we are back in the game with a more ambitious goal in mind – to create our own brand of luxury watches under the name meXanica. We are just a couple of friends with extensive experience in different areas – engineering, art, design, entrepreneurship and finance.
We are featuring two very distinctive watches in our campaign, our new flagship “meXanica One” and an upgraded version of our first timepiece – the Rebel II. We have created them with uncompromising quality and attention to detail. The second generation of The Rebel has been upgraded to Swiss quartz movement, while for the meXanica One we used Swiss Ronda mechanism with 2 jewels and silver plates. Both watches are made from 316 stainless steel and have very durable PVD coating. Both watches have sapphire crystal glass and anti-reflex coating of the dial, which are features found in the top brand and much more expensive watches.
