We have a lot of myths in our ancient history here in Greece .One of the most famous myths around the world is the one of the labyrinth of Knosos and the monster that was inside it Minotaur.
When the son of king Minos, ruler of Knosos, Androgeos won some of the events of the Panathenaic games, the Athenians envied him so much that they killed him. Minos in order to punish the Athenians declared a war in which he won. One of his cruel conditions was every 9 years the Athenians should send him 7 young boys and 7 young girls as human sacrifice to Minotaur.
Thiseas son of king Aegeas of Athens couldn’t accept such a sacrifice so he decided to be one of the 14 young people, coming to Crete and Knosos in order kill Minotaur and stop that sacrifice forever. When he came to Knosos the daughter of king Minos Ariadne fell in love with him and decided to help him. She gave him a sword to kill Minotaur and she also gave him a skein of thread, the so called “Mitos”. He tied the edge of it at the entrance of the labyrinth and he was supposed to follow it back after he had successfully killed Minotaur.
Thiseas indeed killed Minotaur, got out of labyrinth and took Ariadne back to Athens with him.
The Minotaur is dead and now it is time for you to come out of labyrinth by following the “Mitos of Ariadne”
The game box contains 12 dodecagon and 20 hexagons. The players can create totally random mazes with them. After that they have to follow the rules so they can come out of the exit before the other players. Three scenarios that can be played after using those rules have already been created. All those 3 scenarios can be played separately or combined in order to create even more complicated scenarios.
The unique about this game board is that by using the maze game pieces in many ways you can create much more scenarios. For that reason after the end of the campaign here at Indiegogo a site with a forum will be created so we can gather to discuss and trade ideas about what we can do to have even more fun with the game.
