Manila, Philippines — Behind the folklore-based survival horror game, Nightfall: Escape, is a very dedicated CEO and founder of Zeenoh Games, Jhondie “JD” Abenaza. He developed the concept for this tragic historical game as inspiration from his personal childhood horror experiences.
‘Aswang’ Conquers the World
Just as the game was introduced to every gaming community, it had already piqued the world’s curiosity and interest. One possible factor could be the onset of globalization for ‘Aswang’.
When people are asked to define horror, a lot would likely say “monsters”, “ghosts” or any kind of terrifying supernatural beings and occurrences. Based on an article from The Aswang Project, it would seem that foreign horror films took a liking to other mythical creatures abroad such as the Philippine’s ‘aswang’ which they described as “amorphous and nondescript”. Thus, the myth about this shape-shifting beast was then used by many foreign TV shows and films. Now it is being incorporated on Nightfall: Escape as a villain dwelling in a mysterious abandoned mansion.
Pre-Alpha Game Testing Success
As a triple ‘A’ game, Nightfall: Escape wanted to preserve the good feedbacks it received this past few months that is why Pre-Alpha Game Tests was held this year where lots of testers coming from all over the Philippines experienced the game firsthand.
As everyone can see, from their AVPs, it is noticeable how every testers found the game very terrifying — from the story and the music to the gameplay itself. Everyone vouched for the game’s potential taking in consideration the improvements it will have for the full version.
Nightfall Pledge Rewards
