Hello! My name is Lindsey Foushee and I am a seventeen year old rising high school senior with George Washington University Online High School. I wanted to get the word out about my campaign to maybe some local stations, I live in Chesapeake Virginia. This fundraising campaign is part of the community service I do as a member of national honors society. No Kid Hungry is a non-profit charity that helps get meals to kids and their family’s who need it most. Many kids are struggling through the pandemic, as many relied on school lunches as their only source of sustenance throughout the day. $10= 100 meals for kids.
This is a wonderful charity that has always supported kids and given them meals, and they are working extra hard during the pandemic to get these kids the meals they need. I plan on eventually making and delivering meals during the summer myself to kids who are still out of school and suffering. I could really use your help to spread the word about my campaign and please email me if you need to. I also made a website during the pandemic that gave tips on how to survive online school for those who were suddenly thrown into this very different way of learning. The website also included things to do in quarantine when you’re bored and other stuff. I’m kinda just rambling now but I don’t know what else to put haha, but I really hope you consider using my story as it would really help me to get more donations and meet my goal.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with the email lindseyfoushee@yahoo.com or my phone number 757-802-6636. Thank you for reading and I hope you consider publishing my story so I can get more donations with the extra publicity around the donations! www.gofundme.com
