“Hala.Studio” has created an eco-friendly planner “It’s Totally You” which makes easier to keep track of important aspects of healthy, productive, and successful life.
The planner helps to organize one’s daily agenda, keep track on physical activities and sleep time, and also intake of fruits, vegetables, and water. Additionally, there are sections to track one’s income and expenses and create a list of payments due, so one would never miss a payment on time again.
“One of our goals is to help students to plan their activities and recognize the importance of a well-balanced life. As well as, we want young people to learn how to budget and be responsible for their finances,” says the founder of the project Eva Cildermane. “Another goal is to reduce addiction to smartphones and encourage to write by hand. Scientists have found that handwriting improves memory, creative and critical thinking, which are crucial skills in any career.”
The planner is printed on recycled paper to make the planner eco-friendly and encourage people to recycle. If the crowdfunding campaign is successful, “Hala.Studio” has promised to plant a tree for every planner sold.
“I have worked with different projects and companies for a decade, but this is the first time I have decided to try crowdfunding; it seemed the most appropriate way how to fund this project. If we meet the funding goal of $CA 16 000, next year we will have the planner in at least one more language besides English,” says Ms. Cildermane. But this is not the most challenging plan what the enterprise has on its plate: the ambition and vision is to make “It’s Totally You” adaptive for visually impaired people. “This is one of the biggest challenges I have ever taken on, but when we are going to accomplish it, it is going to be one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.”
The planner’s year starts with August and ends with July, covering the academic year.
Until March 31 planners will be available for pre-order on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. Customers will receive their order by July this year, shortly before the new academic year starts.
“Hala.Studio” offers two types of planners for pre-order. A 158-page weekly planner will be more suitable to laconic note-takers, while users who like to take more detailed notes will love the 398-page daily planner.
