October 14, 2015 — Punchy games launches Kickstarter for their new tabletop board game Cargo Bay Raiders. The game is set in a retro-future world where players take control of an interstellar delivery service (IDS) ship, its captain, and its crew of clones and the precious cargo inside. Delivering the cargo won’t be easy since competitors are always raiding your ship and snatching your crates. You can get a leg up on them by raiding their ship and snatching their crates. What’s inside the crates? There’s all manner of treasures, traps and tech upgrades. Unlucky thieves will also encounter alien stowaways who are under the control of your competitor. The player with the most money at the end of the delivery run wins.
This innovative game was designed by Karl Lindemann who has programmed games for Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Andromeda Strain, Mad Men and many others.
