The NIGHT is an upcoming horror game that currently has a successful Kickstarter campaign, and was in the Top 3 Games on Itch.io for about 2 weeks. It currently has about 1600+ downloads on the Itch.io website. Itch.io is a website where indie game developers can publish their game for free and where gamers can download paid, or free games based on what the developer publishes it as. It’s one of the most popular Indie game websites out there.
Now, The NIGHT has gained a lot of support from the indie game community, but would like to expand development for their game to add more things like, higher quality models and textures, more voice actors, a Bigger Map, and much much more. The Kickstarter Campaign ends in mid April so there’s plenty of time to back, or pre-order the game. The NIGHT’s full release will be available on Steam, and will be $24.99. But by pre-ordering the game via Kickstarter, you can get it for just $15. Tristen Reed, the founder and owner of Relay Studios which is developing The NIGHT posts updates very frequently so you’re always up to date on the development process, and sometimes asks for opinions and suggestions from the backers and community in general.
As of writing this statement, the Kickstarter Campaign that Relay Studios has made for The NIGHT is sitting at $622 with 15 Backers (including the automatic $1 bot). They have a YouTube Trailer for the game, for an old demo that a lot of YouTubers played that is no longer available, instead they released a “Full Release House Tour Demo” which is available now for free on windows. The link will be at the end of this. The “Full Release House Tour Demo” is an extremely early version of the first house in the full release. Meaning, that there will be unfinished textures, bugs, etc.
