I love games, especially when they are a bit sick and twisted, where I can laugh from the bottom of my belly just because something is ridiculous! However, that is not the only reason my husband and I started making this card game. It all began with a conversation about how my sister once fed me a cat food burrito. We started talking about the rotten things that friends have done and were laughing as we were trying to outdo each other. It became a bit of a game to think about what you could do that would be truly rotten and what you would have to do to claim to be the most rotten of them all! It wasn’t long before we had the beginnings of a game and thought- we are not the only people with these rotten ideas- we need to get this out there into the world. My Rotten World was born.

Now, it’s your chance to see My Rotten World on Kickstarter and help us to try to meet our goal so we can create and play this unique game. I promise this game is NOT a repeat of other not-safe-for-work games. It has hilarious graphics, funny stories and card play that is fun, fast and easy to learn.

The goal of the game is simple: you want to get…and keep the Rotten Card to prove you are the most rotten of them all! When you begin, each person will get 5 cards and the rotten card can be in only one of 3 places. In your hand, in the deck or in someone else’s hand. There are 12 types of cards that are fun to play. Each of these cards will have an action associated with it. There are steal, grab, dump, peek, barf, swap and burn cards. On your turn, you will play a card from your hand and take the action. For example, if you think the rotten card is in the deck, you might want to play the “grab” card and take 4 from the deck. There are also special cards that you can use in your defense. For example, if you have the rotten card and someone wants to “steal” it from you, you can play the “rebound pound” card and now you get to steal their cards instead. In addition, each card will have a hilarious cartoon showing some rotten thing that you did!

This game is fun with just 2 people or perfect for parties of 8 or more (see the party packs.)

Our game testers have said the common reactions are shock, laughter, blushing, and showing a strong competitive spirit to win!
