2niverse Games announces its debut design “Tiny Ninjas” – a compact fast-action card and dice game that is intended to play right inside of the box.
“My wife and I travel frequently so I wanted to create a game that we could bring with us and play wherever we were. Sometimes you don’t have access to ample table space so having a design that could be played on virtually any surface was crucial” said Tiny Ninjas creator, Ryan Leininger. “It needed beautiful artwork, had to play quickly and have a lot of exciting moments; I felt that was very important to keeping people engaged. The resulting design was Tiny Ninjas, a game I’ve been developing for the past 2 years. It is a true labour of love and I cannot wait to deliver it to my incredible backers”
Tiny Ninjas is for 2-players, ages 8+ and takes around 15 minutes per game. It blends together high energy “push-your-luck” dice rolling with clever card management strategy. The unique ‘transforming’ box allows for a cohesive and truly portable gaming experience; suitable for planes, trains, picnics, restaurants… even on the couch or backseat of a car.
It includes 52 cards containing a roster of 20 ninja characters, 2 reference cards, 2 punchboard connector walls, 2 health dials, 2 sensei markers, 1 shuriken die, 1 kunai die, 1 full colour insert, 1 fully wrapped game box and a rules booklet.
The campaign is currently running until June 12, 2018
The cost is $29USD which includes free shipping to the United States with the backing of one copy and free shipping to USA, Canada, UK and Australia with the backing of two copies.
There is also an ultra-exclusive “Legendary Edition” available for only 20 backers. It includes a handmade box with fur lining, a faux-leather wrapped artbook and a customized ninja illustration.
