TITANOMACHINA is a crunchy giant robot brawl taking place in the far future!

What’s all this then?

Humanity has returned from the Singularity, and their keepers the Titans have returned with them. A return to the world of its birth, and to reality, has revived Humanity’s ancient vices. Conflict has broken out between the new cities, and their Matron-Goddesses have been dragged into it. Take on the role of one of these mighty Titans as they carefully discuss civic and personal boundaries.

How do it play?

In TITANOMACHINA 2-4 players 10 years old and up take on the roles of these Titans, drafting their weapons, crew, and choosing the buildings they have elected to protect and a personality to match. A Titan’s buildings set their starting score during set-up, and then players can score more points by destroying enemy buildings, and parts of enemy Titans, as the game goes on. If a player establishes a 10 victory point lead, they win. Otherwise the game lasts 18 rounds and victory points are totalled up at the end.

During each of these rounds players first take turns activating systems and then taking turns resolving those the actions those system enable, in initiative order of highest to lowest. Some systems move the Titans, others allow them to attack buildings and other Titans. Still other system protect the Titan, or seize the initiative from its opponents. Crew can move around inside of Titans, repairing damage and keeping them fighting.

The sheer awesomeness of giant, city-crushing robots aside, TITANOMACHINA is designed to have immense depth, requiring players to balance their resource against a tight deadline, and each other. Within their grand strategies players must master the tactics of Titan-on-Titan combat. Players can customise those strategies, determining what mix of crew, weapons, buildings, and personality will best leverage their victory; these things can be drafted, but also have victory point values that players can use for tournament-based play. Each game tells a story sprinkled with enthusiastic amounts of BOOM!
