On Kickstarter until Oct. 2nd. Unruly Bastards is a hilarious card game that lets you be as creatively inappropriate as you are willing to go! The game is very simple, in each round there is one judge who reads a THEME and a MODIFIER card out loud. Each of the players then has to act out the theme as dictated by the modifier, the winner becomes the new judge. First one to five wins, wins the game.
With 10.000 combinations the game does not get boring. There are also several different challenge cards included such as speed rounds, physical or battles, to spice up the gameplay.
The initial inspiration to make Unruly Bastards came from a spontaneous moment sitting around a table with friends that left us all wiping away tears of laughter. This developed into a hilarious game that we kept having a great time playing. We had longed for a party game that gave us the freedom to be creative and allow us to make up our own answers. Being restricted to an already written card can feel frustrating at times when you have a much better answer in your twisted mind.
Unruly Bastards is unique among party games because it focuses on role playing humor. It is also designed in a way that encourages even the shyest among us to say things that can win the round. The game was conceived and developed by men and women, and this has helped ensure it is wildly in-your-face funny but also playable for all types of personalities.
We already have several cool expansion packs planned for the future and we plan on translating the game into many different languages.
As we launched our Kickstarter, we also will be launched a LIVE improv comedy show, based on the game. The game was played with some of the best improv comedians in Los Angeles, and it was a roaring success. The second show will be on Sep. 29th at the Complex Theatre in Hollywood. We also have plans to develop UNRULY BASTARDS into a game show for TV.
We hope to spread a little more laughter and unruliness to the world with Unruly Bastards.
