Greetings, High Information Highway denizens… it is I, JMAA. The lead of JMAA Games, JMAA TV and so on. And I am here to present to you my debut game for JMAA Games… SCHIZO SIMULATOR.

SCHIZO SIMULATOR is a top-down roguelike shooter that’s inspired by being the deranged lovechild of Binding of Isaac and Hotline Miami. A game that pays homage to everything the 90s gaming has brought to us: Doom, pizza, heavy metal, violence and gore, and so on. It is meant to be a game for those hardcore gamers who want to throw away their keyboards and mice in rage against their screens, just for the modern day. Think of me as if I was the John Romero of this project, with a luscious mane and some real rockstar attitude. I bring that to this game, and this game will make you go HARD.

It features a top of 9 levels, every 2 with a different theme. The story involves the Earth being overrun by demons who have fully, somehow, integrated into human society. There’s demon accountants, demon housewives, demon pitbulls… even demon hotdog stands.

But most importantly, and worst of all: the demons are secretly planning a demonic invasion against humanity. Oh yes, do you think these demonic bastards are up to any good? Think twice: they’re DEMONS, for god’s sake!

Of course, the Earth Defense Forces caught news of this secret, and they sent YOU, a US Marine, to fight the demonkind in the Union Demonkind Organization (U.D.O) and eliminate all the hostiles within. Leave no survivors.

You must also eliminate their head of operations: El Diablo, a midget demonlord that at first glance might look inoffensive, but he’ll be packing danger in his pockets and arms. Aside of that, God knows what else the demons got in store for you.

The game features a packin’ of fast-paced instant action, you’ll be gunning down any demons that you instantly face. You’ll have to survive THREE TIMES the gameplay to defeat Hell for good. But there will be a catch: you die, you start all over again. You lose your progress and begin from scratch. If the idea of permadeath scares you, you’re not ready for this game.

Plus: I’m including 2-player deathmatch online multiplayer in this game. Maybe this implies certain limitations towards technical stuff, but think of it like this: it’s like a deadly game of Poker, where skill and luck will determine your victory. These multiplayer matches are thought to be short-burst duels of 1 minute or less or so, where you could hook up with a friend and duel him for a short while. Ideal for placing bets or just killing a bit of time.

My plans in regards of this game is to have a full release on Steam for starters. Maybe build up some hype, get some sales, but most importantly, I want to create a game that will stand the test of time. And a good start at that.

I’ve been having an incredible interest in making games from a good long time ago, and especially making good, fun games that people will enjoy. With this, I will step in into the industry. And after I release this game, if all goes well, I’ll make JMAA Games and JMAA TV a serious business where I can get a foothold on entrepreneurship. Hopefully, the game will be enjoyed by more people out there who are just interested into something that will entertain them for a good while.

As we speak, the game is about 90-95% done at the moment, there is still some things out there that need to be fixed, stuff that needs to be tweaked, things to be polished… but the game right now is decently playable. Mostly on the single player, where you’ll be able to do a full run of the 9 levels without mostly any problems.

Sadly, there is no release date planned yet, because I just wanna be sure this game remains perfect for release. I want to be sure I am a perfectionist on this, and that means nearly no bugs, no downsides, no problems. You’ll guaranteed have a full working game by the end of the day whenever the game’s released. www.kickstarter.com
