This kickstarter is the launch of my new jewellery collection, featuring 3D printed jewellery created from microscope images of human chromosomes!
Our DNA is incorporated into 46 chromosomes, 23 pairs of chromosomes. Each half of a pair is similar in shape, except the X and Y chromosomes. All 24 shapes have been used to create beautiful jewellery, with featuring all the chromosomes or a select few.
I have designed [contact-form][contact-field label=’Name’ type=’name’ required=’1’/][contact-field label=’Email’ type=’email’ required=’1’/][contact-field label=’Website’ type=’url’/][contact-field label=’Comment’ type=’textarea’ required=’1’/][/contact-form] and prototyped each piece. The kickstarter hopes to raise enough to get all the items printed in both silver and bronze and to get some professional photography taken of each piece for my online store. Earrings, pendants, rings and cufflinks are available in several different designs and materials!
