The last several months have been absolutely amazing. iGirl Tech launched at the end of March and the responses have been nothing short of awesome! I’m really excited about the direction of the site and all of the impressive women that have been willing to interview, be interviewed, write, and advise on this project.
We’re an online media platform that empowers, inspires, and supports females in technology through 100% female created content. Our female bloggers will empower you with everything from amazing tech resources to valuable insight on how other females are succeeding in the tech world. Exclusive video interviews with fascinating female founders telling their stories will inspire you to continue reaching for more. With a calendar of events, list of awesome females in tech, and upcoming job board you’ll get the support you need to find your place in the tech universe.
Groups, such as Women in Tech Network, that support women in technology are popping up everywhere. However, there remains a lack of female driven media in the tech space. The mission of iGirl is to increase the female voice in technology. Whether you’re a seasoned female entrepreneur or just starting your transition into tech, iGirl Tech News is for you!
In the coming months we have plans to launch a specialized job-search function that will feature female-forward thinking companies and connect females in tech with them and possible job opportunities. We’re also planning on launching a premium content area that we’re calling “Training for Transition”. Whether you’re transitioning from college to career or career to entrepreneurship we’ll provide training to help you. And, all the training will be female created content!
We’re growing every day and expanding the female voice in tech. With your help we can do an even better job and see the staggering growth we know is possible.
