Toronto, Ontario. Two aspiring master builders are raising funds to complete their Star Wars inspired model of Hoth. Over the next month Matthew Bruni and Simon Quayle are striving to generate $1500 through KICKSTARTER for their model of Hoth Echo Base made out of Lego.
Over the past year Matt and Simon have been planning and building their model. Hoth will include 7 modular sections with overall measurements of 10ft long 6ft wide and 2.5ft tall at its highest point. The project will contain over 1 million bricks, and have such things as motorized doors, landing lights and a retractable roof.
Lego Hoth section 3 (main entrance and battlements) has been displayed at Lego Fairview and Lego land Vaughan mills in 2013. Both events where successful generating amazing interest in the finished product.
