San Francisco, CA – On February 24th, PirateMissle launched their new Kickstarter project for a new type of affordable dress shoe that serves as a financially smarter alternative to larger brands like Men’s Warehouse.
Having raised $4,421 since the time of launch, the project has been received well by the community, generating several comments from 82 backers.
Chase Varnado, the founder of PirateMissle is excited about this new direction for the company.
“I currently work for high end exotic car brand, where I’ve learned about Italian design and passion. Holding high expectations and importance of details, I want to share what I’ve learned and make it obtainable through great design.”
The new PirateMissle shoe uses genuine leather with a Polyurethane Insole for comfort. The designs for the shoe initially started last year. After many months of going back and fourth with corrections, the company has finally made it to this stage.
“We are committed to bringing design that is more obtainable at a affordable price for dress shoes to you. After discovering Kickstarter, I realized this would be the perfect kick start to my mission,” says Varnado.
“I have personally have walked 3 miles straight in a pair and had no issues with durability or comfort. Well made shoes and quality that has not been sacrificed for a lower price.”
There are currently 6 styles to chose from on the Kickstarter page and the project is accepting pledges until Wed, Mar 26 2014.
