Confluence Art Group has developed a new product – PlaqCard –The Card to Keep and is looking to Kickstarter for initial funding to launch this nondisposable card. This unique product is a 4 inch by 4 inch wooden card has greater functionality than the everyday card and even functions as a promotional tool or gift.

PlaqCard Display

Have you ever received a card in the mail, appreciated the sentiment, but have no use for it later and end up throwing it away?
The PlaqCard is a unique way to show someone you care while simultaneously giving them a gift they will keep. The founders of the PlaqCard were frustrated with the waste that was being created every time they threw away the beautiful and sentimental card their friends and family would send. So they developed this unique product and have turned to the crowd funding site Kickstarter for funding assistance.

What is a PlaqCard?

The PlaqCard is a 4 inch by 4 inch wooden card. It features a customizable image, such as a photograph or company logo, on the front and a space to write your personalized message on the back. It is easily mailed by adding postage to the mailing box included with the card. Instead of ending up in the trash the recipient will continue to use it and appreciate your thoughtfulness.

The PlaqCard is a totally unique, four-in-one product. It can be sent as a card, used as a coaster, table-top art, or collected and hung on the wall. It’s the only product of its kind that can be customized for personal, business, or retail use. In addition to the traditional uses of greeting cards, it is the perfect marketing leave behind or promotional card to leave with business clients so they will always think of you.

Who is Confluence Art Group?

Confluence Art Group is a local company in Denver, Colorado. The company was established two years ago and has just finished developing the final PlaqCard product. Sam Noyes is the idea man behind the product. Coming from an extensive art background, he developed the concept and pushed it to where it is today. Sam collaborated with his team of four art professionals to create what is now tabletop artwork, promotional coasters, or the Card to Keep. Sam is, and will always be, the Grand Promoter. Confluence Art Group is proud that all of its manufacturing is done in the United States and is trying to bring more manufacturing back to the states.

Nancy Noyes has owned her own art consulting for the last thirty-five years and has collaborated with Sam throughout the early development stages of the PlaqCard.
Randall Stillwell, an artist himself who creates many of our PlaqCard designs, earned his BFA in Photography and is our go-to person for anything IT or Graphics related.
Adrian Koone recently earned her MBA in Strategic Management and manages all incoming and outgoing orders. She is who we depend on to keep things running efficiently.
Head of production, Tim Emerson has merged creative thought and mass-production into an art form. Tim inspires us daily with his ability to take our ideas and have them fully formed into an efficient manufacturing concept within days.
By launching this product through a Kickstarter campaign, we hope to be able to streamline our manufacturing process in order to make the PlaqCard more accessible to consumers. The hope is to be synonymous with American Greetings and Hallmark and give consumers a new unique type of card.
