Rhino Rugby are proud to launch their new Rhino Skin ranges of compression and technical fleece apparel on Kickstarter. Backers can get their hands on the exciting new products at special prices while helping Rhino gain funding to develop their women’s range, which they are keen to release as soon as possible. This is Rhino’s first foray into the world of crowdfunding and it has been a great ride so far.
The project can be found here: www.kickstarter.com and contains high-quality compression products as well as technical fleece with moisture-wicking fabric that has been created especially for Rhino.
The pledge rewards start at £10, where a backer would receive a goody box, and move up in small increments to £200, where the backer would receive all of the new products at £100 less than the retail price. The range of pledge options is tailored so that any level of backing over £10 gets you a reward and anything above £25 gets you at least one item in the new ranges. The prices are only available on Kickstarter and are very competitive with the usual retail price and especially other brands.
If the target of £5000 is hit then Rhino will begin development of their women’s compression range with immediate effect. The women’s market is currently fairly poorly equipped for the serious sporting endeavours of women, especially those who need extra durability for contact sports. The range aims to reflect the strength of a sportswoman while maintaining flattering lines for the female form. The compression designs are at the bottom of the project page and should interest any woman who is into keeping fit, whether it’s playing rugby or going to the gym.
Technical apparel is the direction Rhino hopes to move its products towards and their belief in the current ranges on offer on Kickstarter is evident from their video and story. The Rhino staff are passionate about these ranges and hope that the crowdfunding community are too.
