About the Book
The Shuttered City is a science-fiction, suspense tale set in a far-distant future where humanity has spread across the galaxy and splintered into dozens of sub-species, all organized into a brutal caste system. Most of these species dwell in the relative light of “civilization” but a few lurk in the shadows, lost in the cracks of the Imperial Order.
The backwater town of Sylvanshire is one such “crack.” It was founded during a period of great disorder, when vast horde-fleets terrorized countless worlds, and gene-spliced monstrosities roamed freely. For hundreds of years it has kept its dark secrets, and its inhabitants are not eager for their works to see the light of day.
The Shuttered City was originally conceived about 4 years ago as a single graphic novel set in a much larger universe, and I’ve been working on it on and off since then. You can read the first half of “The Shuttered City” here:

Right now the story is exactly half-way done. The funding from this kickstarter will not only allow me to print and ship any necessary copies of the final product, it will also allow me to focus all of my creative energies on the project, completing it in one go.
