Miami, FL | July 15, 2015 — Less than three weeks to go and Spinetics, Inc., tech startup from Miami, plans to jumpstart their Kickstarter campaign to launch an ecofriendly, self-powered bicycle generator. July 30th is set in stone. The bicycle accessory dubbed the “CydeKick” converts a cyclists’ motion into electricity for charging smartphones, headlights, and other electronic devices. The one-woman, one-man operation continues to rally support from friends, family, and communities East to West coast. “With a small push from supporters here in the US we can continue to show the world that we care about so much more and lead the front in sustainable technology,” says Nicolas Zamora, founder of Spinetics, Inc.
Spinetics will offer two versions of its self-powered generator accessory; the CydeKick Pro and CydeKick Mini. Both models utilized frictionless technology to generate power. The Mini offers a battery-free lighting system while the Pro takes it to the next level with USB charging capability smartphones, GPS, action cameras, etc. This means you never have to worry about running out of charge while you are outside enjoying a ride.
The inventor of the CydeKick, Nicolas Zamora, has been a life-long cyclist. Nick has also been an engineer passionate for green-technology. “It was a combination of curiosity and love for cycling that combined to form the CydeKick.”

Join discussionUm…this thing has been around for years. That’s really the problem with many crowdfunding sites. They’re happy to post your idea and help take a portion of the money YOU manage to raise, but there’s little thought as to how it will do in the market. I applaud these guys for what they’re trying to do and I really hope they have great success–the more products like this on the market, the better the chances more and more people will be able to have one/afford one. I got mine from Bike2Power, but I know there are several other companies doing it.
