“Crackerjack” is the story of a recovering addict and reluctant soon to be mother, Stacy Duvall, who discovers she has the unique talent of making art out of the murders of a local serial killer.

“The Grey”, the nickname for the intriguing and dysfunctional city Stacy lives in, is “The Wall Street of murder”, in that the problems of violence and corruption that plague the city are systemic and often the truly big or known players don’t go to jail. Instead this world just keeps turning without much of a hitch, to the point that a criminal could become affectionally (to some fans) known as “Our local serial killer”.

One fateful day the affection of 1 such fan leads to Stacy’s arrival at the scene of a “fresh” murder and Stacy’s eventual branding of the killer as “The Crackerjack Killer”. Now a rising star in the city’s previously non-existent arts community, Stacy must navigate the pitfalls of her life intertwining with serial killers, and other people.

MEET THE CAST

Sharon Gardner as “Stacy Duvall” in the teaser for “Crackerjack”.
  • Diverse and talented actress Sharon Gardner is portraying the main character, Stacy Duvall. She has been studying and prepping for this character for months already and she is officially chomping at the bit to get things started. She was the 1st cast member to officially commit to the project in it’s developmental stages before it had even been fully fleshed out, and she has been a constant source of an unmistakable energy squarely behind the progression of the production of this project.
John Michael Herndon as the News Anchor in the teaser for “Crackerjack”.
  • Character actor John Michael Herndon (Criminal Minds, 300: Rise of an Empire) also joined the Crackerjack team early on and will be portraying the sharp witted, well respected anchor of the nightly news who has long grown tired of the city’s acceptance of it’s current state. One to usually keep his head above the “riffraff”, he has risked his reputation to negotiate a “My 30 Seconds” segment of the show which he usually dedicates to fussing at the city’s inhabitants over their apathy and acceptance of their circumstances. “He’s deep… and he’s pissed.”
Stephan Early as the Police Chief in the teaser for “Crackerjack”.
  • Actor Stephen Early plays a lethargic, once brilliant, police captain who spends his days murmuring non-sensical statements and purposefully not catching the criminals to keep his job. In a city where good gets fired and bad gets a career, he’s the best of the worst.
  • Actress Dawn Noel is not only onboard to give a beautiful portrayal of Stacy’s natural arch-enemy, the “irrevocably damaged for no particular reason”, Eve, she is also a Producer for the series who has helped to bring many more talented artists onto the project including the vocalist for the Crackerjack theme song, Benai Alicia Boyd.
Adam Ohl (left) and Ernest Pierce (right) as detectives in the teaser for “Crackerjack”.
  • Actors Ernest Pierce and Adam Ohl are combative yet smooth detectives with great chemistry recently tasked by the captain with the responsibility of catching the (newly named) “Crackerjack Killer” and bringing him or her to justice… if they can.
